Golden Gate Counseling Center was founded by Randy Weled, MFT in
2005 out of his deep commitment to further the well-being of individuals,
couples, and families. He feels strongly that each individual
psychotherapist, counselor, therapist and mental health professional,
needs, in addition to comprehensive training and compassionate skills,
awareness of how the larger culture we live in affects peoples’ mental
health.

Jeanna Eichenbaum, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with
particular areas of expertise working with transgender, gender queer,
bisexual, LGBT, and polyamorous individuals and relationship
configurations.

Both Randy and Jeanna also work extensively and in a highly skilled and
sensitive way with recovery from trauma, depression, anxiety and other life

We at Golden Gate Counseling believe that:
  • Good therapy, counseling, psychotherapy, couples counseling, and
    family therapy should be available to all people.
  • We have a particular commitment to work with those who come from
    oppressed and/or marginalized communities.
  • We believe a deep awareness and honoring of these issues is
    potentially a place of powerful healing in the lives of our clients and
    those who love and support them, and is an important area of pain
    often overlooked by the mental health field generally.
Golden Gate counseling Center serves the  entire Bay Area including San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley,
Richmond, Pinole, Santa Rosa, San bruno, Daly City,  South San Francisco, Burlingame, Sausalito, San Rafael, and
Santa Cruz.  We service the counties:   Santa Clara County, Contra Costa county, Marin county, Sonoma county,
Monterey and Mendocino counties. We provide couples counseling, counseling for the gay lesbian bisexual
transgender and intersex community.  We deal with addictions to substance abuse, drugs, alcohol, sex addiction,
and debting.  We also offer family interventions, family therapy and relationship counseling.  Our specialists deal
with depression anxiety, trauma, and codependency.  We work with individuals, couples and families.
